  • Award-winning and PROVEN methods that have been developed by an Arts Instructor with over 15 years of hands-on expertise

  • An entire school year's worth of art lessons that are inviting, managed, and support ALL learners can be completed in just a couple days

By the end of this course you will have a strategic game plan for integrating arts into your classroom without the chaos and clutter you may be experiencing now.

Lesson 2: Pacing in Active and Creative Classrooms

Pacing is the secret sauce that guarantees your art lessons are rewarding and comfortable - never chaotic or boring! If you’ve felt like something has been “off” in your classroom, this lesson is a gamechanger.

Lesson 3: Using Mini-Lessons for Management

Similar to pacing, setting expectations and preparing students for the lessons ahead is critical for success. You’ll also receive my ELA and Math Idea Sheets so you’re never stumped on what mini-lesson to teach.

No more clutter and chaos! In this lesson you’ll learn the how - and why - of organizing your supplies, materials and resources so you’ll always be able to find what you need quickly.

Lesson 6: Using Transitional Spaces

In this lesson we take the frustration out of transitional art spaces. As we review the Maximize Your Space Guide you learn practical tips for improving even the most difficult of spaces.

Lesson 7: Building Relationships

The arts are an incredible tool for encouraging creativity and fostering meaningful relationships that can have a significant impact on their learning. You’ll learn strategies to connect with your students while still maintaining a respectful teacher/student relationship.

Lesson 8: Addressing Behaviors

Learn actionable strategies for addressing behaviors while still encouraging creative expression. We’ll walk through common scenarios and I’ll share my “7 Hints for Teaching Expected Behaviors Worksheet” so you always have a handy guide nearby.

Lesson 9: Positive Reinforcement

In this lesson we take the frustration out of art management and explore how to reinforce your classroom expectations with positive reinforcement. I’ll also share my “6 Tips for Correcting Behaviors” worksheet to help you brainstorm strategies.

Lesson 10: Working with Whole Groups

Successful arts integration with whole groups requires careful planning and an understanding of group dynamics. You’ll learn 4 different techniques for whole group instruction and my Whole Group Cheatsheet so you can teach without feeling overwhelmed.

Lesson 11: Working with Small Groups

Small groups have their challenges as well. In this lesson, you’ll learn 6 different techniques for organizing small groups and which teaching methods are the most effective for delivering arts integration lessons.
